Medical Accommodations
Meal plan holders with documented medical restrictions may consider requesting access to the Special Diet Kitchen or visiting the unrestricted Special Diet Pantry. Prepared foods in our dining facilities may not be allergen free, even if they are made initially with products that don’t contain the allergen. Please speak with our staff if you have questions regarding food allergens.
FARE Food Allergy College Program
Food Allergy Research and Education (FARE) is a leading national organization. ISU Dining is part of the FARE Food Allergy College Program. Our registered dietitian is a FARECheck Instructor. We train key staff in the FARECheck program to support food-allergic diners with extensive safety practices.
